  • Fees — fees are as quoted in the engagement letter, denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Disbursements are disclosed separately and billed at cost.
  • Client obligations — clients must provide accurate instructions and complete information in a timely manner. Delays arising from incomplete instructions are not the responsibility of Keystrum.
  • Confidentiality — all client information is subject to legal professional privilege and our confidentiality obligations under the Legal Profession Act 1976.

7. Payment Terms

Professional fees are payable as described in the relevant engagement letter. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. Payment is accepted by bank transfer in Malaysian Ringgit. Disbursements and government fees are billed separately at cost and are payable upon demand.

8. Disclaimers

The Website and its Content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. Keystrum does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on it is current, accurate, or complete. Termination of an individual legal engagement is governed by the applicable engagement letter. Upon termination of any engagement, provisions relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, payment, and limitation of liability survive.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website shall first be subject to good-faith informal resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

12. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement — these Terms, together with any engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between you and Keystrum in respect of the subject matter.
  • Severability — if any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Waiver — failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
